Juneau Office Closing

The Juneau Child Support office has faithfully served the South East Region area for many years. Due to the changing economic needs of the State of Alaska, this office will close permanently on June 29, 2016.

Administrative Code Change

A change has been made to the Alaska Administrative Code effective 3/20/16. Review of Support Orders at the Request of a Parent. (15 AAC 125.327).

As of March 20, 2016, the Child Support Services Division (CSSD) will no longer modify court orders on behalf of case parties. CSSD will assist you by providing a child support calculation to include in your petition for modification to the courts.

Key2Benefits Prepaid MasterCard Enrollment Is Now Open

The bank that manages Alaska CSSD’s debit card program has changed. KeyBank is now the provider of our prepaid card services, replacing J.P. Morgan Chase Bank.

Your JPMorgan Chase VISA card will remain active after the change; however, we strongly urge you to draw down any remaining balance on the JPMorgan Chase VISA card. You cannot transfer funds from the JPMorgan Chase VISA card to the new Key2Benefits prepaid card. If you no longer wish to receive your payments on a prepaid card, you may sign up for direct deposit.

End of paper checks starts November 1, 2015

As part of CSSD’s continued initiative toward a more efficient paperless process, we will no longer be issuing paper checks as of November 1, 2015.

  • What does this mean? We will no longer mail out paper checks. Instead we offer two convenient payment options; direct deposit and the Key2Benefits Prepaid debit card.
  • What are the benefits? Every client will receive their funds on time, safely and securely, it will eliminate the risk of lost, stolen or stale dated checks, it will decrease the errors, leave less room for fraud, protect clients from duplicate checks and it is a way to work smarter and greener for the state.

Wasilla Office Closure

The Wasilla Child Support office has faithfully served the Mat-Su Valley for many years. Due to the changing economic needs of the State of Alaska, this office will close June 2015. The Anchorage office for the CSSD Customer Service Center has moved across the street from the Atwood building to the first floor of the Linny Pacillo Parking Garage. The new location is 655 F Street.

Financial Statements

Case parties are able to view their child support financial statements online. The first time you access the statements application, you must request a PIN. Once requested, it will be sent to you by mail. After receiving your PIN, login to myAlaska and verify your account with your member number and PIN. You will then be able to access the reports. The statements can be viewed from your web browser or a PDF version can be created. The financial reports can be accessed through myAlaska .

Web Based New Hire Reporting

Employers can now report their new hires directly to CSSD by accessing the myAlaska website. If you do not have a myAlaska account for your business and need to create one, you may do so at by selecting “Register for a myAlaska Account” under "Account Services" and entering the required information. By using the web based program you as an employer will save time, resources and costs. No more time consuming faxing, making disks or postal costs. If your business already has a myAlaska account, you can access the Alaska New Hire Reporting website at under “Services for Businesses/Submit employee hirings to CSSD”.
